I've posted some images of a new Progress book. I made this one for a friend (Quickmind) as a Cristmas gift. I had a lot of fun making this one. It was a bit of a challenge (in more ways than one)to cut through the thick cover to make the crack. The board was an 8 ply mat board with a heavy stock,glossy coated/glazed photo print glued to it. The thickness made it really difficult to cut through neatly. It was also a little heart-wrenching to cut into the print after it turned out so well! But, it came out rather nicely, I think.
Now I just have to start working on a new book for myself! Oh, if anyone else is interested, I am thinking of maybe producing some of these for sale, upon request. Just let me know if anyone is interested.

yes, i took your command...uhh... advice and scanned some sketchbook pages. I worked a bit more on the illustration the other night, but nothing too concrete at this point. Will post progress on that when I can.

What's up! My fam's been okay since the hurricane. In fact I'll be seeing them this weekend. We're all pretty much all over the place since the disaster though. Here's hoping for a better year. What about your fam?

good to hear from you. glad to hear the family is ok. My family is doing alright though they were getting a lot of flooding up north. but it seems to be drying up now.
